We can now rest assured the Saints will remain in New Orleans for the foreseeable future. After months upon months of hammering out a deal, Governor Bobby Jindal and Saints owner Tom Benson announced the good news to the media. You can check out there story HERE. This means we'll now likely land host to the 2013 Superbowl and we can count on the Saints playing in New Orleans till at least 2025. The proposal calls for major upgrades to the Superdome during the lifespan of the deal which means the Saints will also continue to play in the stadium for a long time. Great news! I applaud the Louisiana government and Mr. Benson for finding common ground in this economy and I think we can all very much look forward to many more years of exciting New Orleans Saints football. This is a nice relief and I'm glad I can postpone worrying about the Saints leaving New Orleans for 15 years.lagniappe:
